Every dog’s greatest wish is to have a home and to have wonderful parents who will show them how much they love them every day.

It breaks my heart to think that there are so many abandoned puppies who never received the love and care they deserved.

Our next story is about five puppies who were abandoned on the streets when they needed love and care the most.

This is their story.

Puppies need help

In March 2023, Lisa Chiarelli, founder of Frankie Lola and her friendsA dog rescue organization based in Los Angeles, California received a call for help accompanied by a photo of an adorable little puppy. He was abandoned in a box.

Chiarelli immediately agreed to help.

The next morning, she received a surprising update. Instead of one puppy, there were four other puppies in the same cardboard box.

She was committed to saving the whole family. Soon all the puppies were rushed to her aid. As soon as they arrived, Chiarelli received them with outstretched arms. She made them feel welcome, safe and loved.

From the moment she saw them, she knew they would need some time to fully recover. The puppies were tiny and malnourished. They were about 7-8 weeks old.

Rescue veterinarians intervened to treat them. They made sure the puppies received their medications on time.

Everyone at the clinic showered the adorable puppies with love and lots of cuddles.

With love, medication and trust, they have improved so much. They started eating like crazy, gaining weight and playing a lot. » Chiarelli said.

The puppies have been named Christian, Harlow, Daisy, Ollie and Aurora. They loved to snuggle and play with toys.

Three weeks later, they were perfectly healthy and ready to go to foster families.

Looking for a forever home

The next and most important step for the puppies was finding a forever home. While all of his brothers and sisters were reunited with their loving families, Christian was still waiting. He was almost 5 months old and was the longest resident puppy at Frankie Lola and Friends rescue.

Chiarelli praised him for being the perfect little guy. She said he loved walking and was great with kids. She knew he waited longer to be adopted because he was a black dog.

“We love black dogs and he is beautiful and deserving and he doesn’t deserve to not be chosen.”

In June 2023, Christian’s greatest wish came true. He moved in with his forever family who fell in love with him as soon as they saw him.

We couldn’t be happier that all the puppies found wonderful homes who love them very much. They will never feel abandoned again.
