We often live in a world where we take for granted the things we have. We go about our daily lives without ever asking ourselves if there was something more we could have done to make our world a better place.
If more people were aware of the magnitude of change they could make by simply trying to help with something like saving animals, it would completely change their perspective.
In this story, we will talk about an example where a kind woman saw a puppy in need and decided to make it her mission to help him lead a better life.
The puppy was so sad
As a kind woman walked down a street in Delaware, she noticed a very unusual puppy I’m just standing there, by a road.
She was shocked to see the state he was in. Her hair had almost fallen out, and he was constantly scratching himself. He was probably malnourished and needed food.
The woman approached him slowly and the puppy was not afraid of her at all. He accepted any help he could get.
SO, she put it in a small backpack, and he looked at her with grateful eyes. It was as if he knew everything would be okay from that moment on.
She also noticed that he was wearing a collar, so she did some research to see who it belonged to. Surprisingly, he had no owner or at least no one who cared.
After the woman took him to a safe place, she gave him food and water. She couldn’t believe how thirsty he was.
She took the opportunity to examine him more closely and realized that he had worms and needed treatment.
A bright future for the puppy
With proper treatment, this adorable little the puppy was starting to make an incredible recovery under the care of his wonderful rescuer.
She was happy to see him; however, he had to be moved to a sanctuary in Delawarewhere someone could supervise him at all times, which gave the puppy the opportunity to socialize a little.
Even though he is a small dog, he always shows himself to his new friends at the shelter and he loves to play.
His favorite activity is literally running around. wherever he could. The sanctuary staff were surprised by his good humor.
Now that he was here, he was recovering remarkably well and looked completely different than he did when he met his rescuer.
She had met him at the right time and had managed to give him a new chance in life. Soon, he will be placed on an adoption list.
This will allow him to find a new home with a loving family who will always take care of him.
While it’s too early to tell if he’s been adopted or not, I’m sure the sanctuary workers are doing everything they can to help this adorable pup.
