When she saw a little puppy in desperate need of help, she didn’t think twice! She immediately rushed to the aid of this poor dog, and it turned out to have saved his life.
However, the real question is: how did the puppy end up in such a painful situation? She was inches away from being hit by a car, roaming the local roads and looking for a place to be…all because of a heartbreaking secret from the past she was hiding.
Perfect timing
If Hannah was just a few minutes late, the puppy probably would have faced an inevitable fate. This obviously abandoned dog was literally in the middle of the road, moving slowly between passing cars.
Once this woman with a giant heart spotted her, her car’s dash cam recorded her being almost hit by four cars. That’s when Hannah pulled over and rushed to stop traffic!
Even though she wasn’t sure how this Bully girl would react, she didn’t hesitate at all. She kissed the dog and led him off the road. Then there was a real shock!
Instead of being shy and reserved towards the unknown man, the dog, later named Winnie, started to wag his tail. She was so happy that Hannah came to her aid that she instantly melted in his arms.
“I was hesitant that she might be aggressive, but I wanted her to be safe. I picked her up once we were off the road and she starts wagging her tail. I knew this baby was mine from that moment on and I started sobbing because she hadn’t been touched. Hannar wrote on TikTok.
The connection between the two was instantaneous. And that’s when Hannah understood that Winnie was her future dog!
The two went straight home after that exhausting night. Winnie was served with two large bowls of foodwhich she devoured in no time, indicating how hungry she had been all along.
Hannah just couldn’t believe that someone would leave her in such inhumane circumstances, with no food or water, and in constant danger of being accidentally harmed.
The next day, Winnie underwent a veterinary examination, where she was diagnosed minor skin problems (which was the result of his outdoor life).
The vet also revealed Winnie’s heartbreaking secret. He suggested that she was probably used for breeding then cruelly abandoned by its owner.
She had a litter before, but the night she was rescued, she was all alone.
Welcome home, Winnie
Hannah’s heroic rescue quickly took the internet by storm. After sharing a video of Winnie’s rescue, thousands of people commented under the post, expressing their deepest gratitude for Hannah’s noble act.

Despite all the horrible things she experienced when she was abandoned, Winnie can finally relax and enjoy her new life. She is truly an extraordinary dog, ready to experience many exciting adventures with her new mother. And we can’t wait to see her flourish!
