A dog named Murphy, who was just a stray dog ​​at the time, is proof that these little parts of the machine called destiny are constantly working, making sure you end up exactly where you’re supposed to be!
Carla and Laura, two sisters from Detroit, Michigan, were taking their family on a trip to Texas when Murphy showed up on the side of the road. Dirty, tangled, but hopeful – he was sitting peacefully in the grass, looking for someone to find him! Until it finally happens!
Murphy didn’t have a collar
As soon as they spotted him, Laura and Carla stopped. They both jumped out of the car and approached this nice boy. At first they thought he would be shy or even aggressive, but this pretty golden creature showed no discomfort or displeasure at being petted.
He was all alone in the world, sitting on the grass, with no one around him. It was clear that he was a stray, as his fur was very dirty, long and disheveled, and he did not have a collar around his neck.
As he followed the sisters to their car, they knew: This dog had to be saved! They decided to take him with them to Michigan, and although the trip was long, they firmly believed that making Murphy a part of their family was simply meant to be!
The kids were excited to have another road trip buddy in their car! The journey was long and exhausting, but from then on everything was full of excitement!
He was a little shy at first
The first thing Carla and Laura had to do was give Murphy a bath. His fur was so long and dirty that the vet was unable to examine him. His first bath lasted over four hours, but after that, Murphy was a whole new boy!

The family was big and he wasn’t the only great kid, so he needed some time to adjust. But, with the treatment he received from everyone, adjusting to his new life has probably been the easiest part of his life journey so far!
Everyone was so excited and happy that Murphy was there, especially because Carla lost one of her dogs a few days before she found Murphy.
Everyone is welcome at Murphy’s new home
In just a few days, Murphy became the cutest boy in Michigan! He quickly hugged his new four-legged companions and feline friend, and they all returned the favor!
Now everyone wants a little bit of Murphy’s affection, and he has no problem with that! Her heart is big enough for everyone, and we just can’t tell who her favorite man in the family is! Murphy loves them all!
