Unfortunately, finding an abandoned dog who must fend for themselves in this cruel world is no longer a novelty. Even though many people have lost their empathy in the face of such sad situations, there are still good souls who cannot remain indifferent.
One morning, a tender-hearted woman cried when she saw a mother dog hiding in a roadside bush to protect her babies.
This prompted her to immediately call for help, and the women from the relief organization were soon on their way.
Determined to save them
When two experienced rescuers arrived on scene, they were initially unable to find the dogs. That was until they looked over the wall that separated the road from the precipice. Under this wall fence, they were greeted by the frightened look of a mother dog.
This mom was lying in a bush while her curled up body protected her beloved pups. Although there was great fear in her expression, these experienced rescuers also saw that she was desperate and wanted to be helped.
There was no clear way to get to where this canine family was. However, one of the rescuers gathered his courage and, with the help of his colleague, managed to climb down and reach them.
She approached them slowly so as not to disturb the mother. She also brought some food because she knew mom was very hungry since she had been nursing puppies all this time.
After this act of kindness, the rescuer managed to gain his trust and this mother’s look was no longer so frightened. One by one, this woman passed the puppies to her colleague who remained on the road and carefully wrapped them in a warm blanket.
When the five little ones were safe, she gently took the mother in her arms to unite her with her babies. Although fear was still visible in this dog’s eyes, she knew that these people were here to help her, so she didn’t resist at all.
This is why they were finally able to go to the premises of the relief organization, which will be their new home in the coming days.
Towards their new life
When they arrived there, the people from the rescue organization first named this brave dog Ritinha. Ritinha was happy to be safe with her babies, so much so that her eyes began to shine with joy.
The employees and volunteers who took care of this little canine family ensured that the mother dog lacked nothing and that she had all the conditions to raise her puppies.
Of course, this also had a positive effect on the babies, because in the most sensitive period of their lives they were surrounded by immense love and care. Every moment of their growth, they showed more and more their happy side and proved that a bright future awaited them.
It wasn’t long before the best possible news arrived. The relief organization wrote in its Facebook post that the first puppy, named Carlota, had been adopted just a few days after the rescue.
The other puppies had to wait a little longer to experience their happiest moment, but they got it, in just one day. Their new owners couldn’t hide their smiles as such cuties entered their lives.
Only mom remained, who, despite this, was still over the moon because of all the wonderful moments that happened to her during the previous period.
However, after the shelter wrote in its Facebook post: “Mothers are always forgotten”With a photo of her irresistible smile, Ritinha attracted a lot of attention to herself.
It ended up paying off because a new Facebook post soon appeared which concluded this whole story with a happy ending.
“Rita was adopted 🥰❤️🥰🐶”, they wrote in the post. From the photo they posted, it’s hard to say who is happier: Ritinha or his new favorite person.
It’s a story that has, once again, shown that sometimes just one small good deed can completely change someone’s life – in this case, the life of an entire family.
