No dog should experience the feeling of abandonment. However, a multitude of these tiny four-legged creatures face it every day.
For unjustifiable reasons, many owners decide to abandon their furry companions and let them fend for themselves.
Unfortunately, these actions most often have fatal consequences, as dogs that once lived in a safe home find it extremely difficult to adapt to harsh conditions.
Chihuawita, a tiny puppy who once had a home, found herself all alone in the street one early morning. Instead of being in a warm home and having a nice meal, she was faced with a harsh reality when she realized her owner wasn’t coming back.
Cruel abandonment
The Moho posted a touching video of a little dog named Chihuawita lying in total despair on the street in the middle of nowhere.
She was completely defenseless and very scared after her owner decided to leave her – for good.
“Her heartless owner cruelly subjected her to this cruel fate. Covered with hundreds of ticks and mites infesting her ears, she endured immense suffering. In her desolation, Chihuawita faced grave danger, not knowing where to turn, abandoned and vulnerable on the road. The Moho posted in the video.
Chihuawita was severely malnourished and too weak to find food and shelter. She was completely helpless and only days away from the point of no return.
It was as if this sweet dog was just hoping that someone would finally come and offer her a friendly hand. Luckily, rescuers with giant hearts arrived at just the right time!
His joyful spirit prevailed
Once found, Chihuawita was first offered food, but she was just too weak to eat. She didn’t have the strength to chew the food her rescuers brought. Instead, she just lay there, hoping for a good night’s sleep for so long.
Rescuers then took her to a local veterinarian, where she was carefully examined. The vet took care of his ticks and provided him with the necessary medications for his recovery, which thankfully continued in a loving home!
This brave girl was adopted into a lovely familywhere she transformed into a whole new dog.
She now enjoys the company of other dogs, far from what was once her cruel fate. With a comfortable home to rest in, Chihuawita lives a life full of joy and happiness. She has new adventures every day and absolutely loves everything about her new family!
Today, it is safe to say that she is completely disease-free. Chihuawita is finally ready to embark on a journey of life as she was meant to do – as a loving companion surrounded by people who absolutely adore her.
Despite everything she’s been through in the past, the spirit of this little girl prevailed. With each new day, she continues to gain the strength and enthusiasm needed for her dog tasks – the most important of which is showering everyone with love!
Once an abandoned puppy who didn’t know where his next meal was coming from, Chihuawita, the resilient dog, is now the happiest girl!
