Why are dogs so loyal to humans? This is one of the oldest and most common questions regarding canines.
The simplest answer would be that we domesticated them and a bond was created between the two species. But this is not always the case.
Dogs are pack animals and for this reason their social attitude and pack mentality is the reason why they are loyal to other dogs or humans.
That’s why it’s so disheartening to see that same loyalty go unrewarded. It’s sad to see a happy, loyal dog abandoned by the people he loves most.
A depressing spectacle
It was a very Rainy day in South Carolina when a rescuer, Angela Simmons, went to save an abandoned dog in a rainy trailer park.
The neighbors I noticed the dog was lying on the couch outsidehoping someone would come get him, but that didn’t happen, so they called Simmons.
When she approached the dog, she noticed that he was quite outgoing and not afraid of her. the paws and nose were irritatedprobably because of the time spent outside waiting.
She took the dog to a shelter, called Auction for a Kawswhere they took the dog, now named Murphy, and helped him settle in.
One of the shelter staff said The Dodo: Once placed in foster care, he turned out to be the greatest sweetheart in the world.
A new beginning for Murphy
Murphy’s Spirit Grows over time, and before you knew it, he was back to enjoying all the fun activities he enjoyed.
He spent a lot of time walking, traveling in cars, rolling around in bed, lying in the sun and getting fresh air.
The staff loved him so much and everyone who met him was pleasantly surprised by his outgoing nature.
One of the workers said: He loves other dogs and is very intelligent. He is very eager to learn and has amazing manners.
After spending some time enjoy fun activities and recoverThe shelter staff decided it was time to put it up for adoption.
They also created a video on their Instagram page to show everyone his story and potentially find him a new family.
In the video, the organization said: We are so excited to have Murphy up for adoption! Murphy is a 45 pound pit mix located in Greenville, South Carolina. He is approximately 3 1/2 years old, housetrained, very affectionate, walks great on a leash, and loves everyone.
