Luna’s life got off to a terrible start. When she was born, she experienced incredible trauma. No puppy should have to go through something like this.
First, she was abandoned at a shelter where rescuers immediately took her in as they realized she was seriously injured.
Picture this…a newborn puppy had a fractured skull, broken jaw, and cleft lip. The injuries were likely caused by other humans, and that is nothing short of tragic.
Things weren’t going so well for Luna. Even though she was in good hands at the vet, she was still having a lot of difficulty.
Will she be euthanized?
Because of his cleft lip, many people have neglected it, and it was difficult for Luna to find a suitable home.
It wasn’t his fault. The poor puppy just wanted a chancebut no one was ready to give it to him. To make matters worse, bad news arrived for Luna.
If she cannot find suitable housing or shelter, she will likely have to be euthanized. After this news, she was taken to the vet for an examination.
They found that his wounds had healed well. The swelling has gone down, but her fractures are still giving her problems and she’s just not ready for surgery yet.
When one of the doctors at the clinic realized that Luna couldn’t breathe properlyhe improvised a breathing tube for her so she could sleep soundly at night.
It was an excellent and intelligent solution. This helped my dear Luna immensely. In the care of its veterinarians, she recovered well.
Her mood has changed over time and she is more and more interested in playing with her vets with each passing day. They gave Luna her first bath, and she seemed to really enjoy it.
She spends time with her rescuers at the shelter, and they ensure that she receives all the necessary treatment. Every time something goes wrong, they take it back.
Luna has another chance
It’s so wonderful to see that Luna has such amazing people around her. After a few more days, she received her vaccinations and was almost ready to be put on an adoption list.
When that day finally came, the rescuers were very proud of her and the progress she had made. They spent quality time with her because they wanted to enjoy their time with her.
Quite early, she found a forever home. Everyone was sad to see her go but happy that she found the most amazing family she could ever dream of.
Now that she has met her new parents, her life has completely changed. His family loves him despite his many problems, and they are still treating his medical issues. Who could really dream of better parents than this one?
She also has a few dog and cat siblings that she can play with whenever she is bored. They have accepted her as family and it’s always heartwarming to see them having fun.
Even though Luna receives regular care, she will still need surgery for fractures and his cleft palate.
Although we don’t know exactly when that will happen, I hope everything goes well for Luna because she is simply the bravest and most enduring dog, and she deserves a chance at a truly normal life.
