It’s always incredibly sad to see how some newborn puppies are treated by their owners. Although it is rare, some of them are born with a malformation or develop a disability.

However, that’s no excuse to treat them like they’re worthless. Every puppy, regardless of their condition, has a lot of love to give, and the only thing they want is the chance to show it.

This poor dog was born with a deformed leg, which immediately meant he was going to be rejected by his owners, who cruelly left him on the street.

However, things weren’t so bleak for the puppy, as his cries were heard by someone who wanted to help him.

A difficult struggle

After a woman called a group of rescuers about a puppy who needed help, they went to help immediately.

They found it pretty quickly and did an examination. He had quite a few burns on his paws and was a little dehydrated.

One of his legs was almost numb, and the others weren’t much better, but there were signs he could recover.

Other than that, he didn’t seem to have any major health problems. Regardless, now was not the time to relax, as he was a newborn and would need constant supervision to grow.

They also had to take him to Collier Veterinary Hospital to Georgia for a proper examination to determine how to treat his legs.

The veterinarian consulted other specialists to find a treatment for his legs, and they found a viable therapy.

After a few days it worked. The puppy, now named Creek, showed much more movement in his front legs and her savior was working hard to help her too.

Journey to a new life

He was doing much better, but there was still a long way to go. They had to have him examined again to see if they could find a better solution for one of his legs that was still a little numb.

They decided to try a new splint to help his leg move in the right direction. Although there was no guarantee that it would work, it was worth it.

Creek was much happier now and was starting to change quite quickly. Therapy has done wonders for his condition, and it’s truly amazing to see such a visible change in him.

His rescuer and the vets also thought it would be a good idea to wrap him in order to train his hips and lower limbs to face in the right direction.

Rather early, Creek would make a new friend named Bosley. He was always very happy to play with him and his tail was constantly wagging when the two were together.

After a little over a month of treatment, a kind woman of Georgia learned about Creek history and I decided to adopt this adorable puppy se.

She continues her treatment naturally and updates her rescuers about her progress almost all the time. Although he’s still faltering, the improvement is astounding.

He moves much better now and is so determined to live the life he always wanted. Thanks to his new family, it is now possible.

It’s truly amazing how this innocent puppy was able to turn his situation around, through his own perseverance and the help of amazing people. I wish him and his family all the best.
