If there’s anything that always breaks my heart, it’s seeing a struggling puppy trying to survive in the freezing cold.
Like all of us, they just want a warm home and someone who loves them. But the reality is that things are not that simple.
As much as we want to help, there is no one-size-fits-all solution to this problem. All we can do is our own part and hope that other people will also try to help dogs in need.
For this poor pup, things weren’t so great. She was badly tangled and shivering all the time. However, things would soon change when she met someone special.
She was shivering so much
As a few people were leaving a supermarket, they noticed this poor dog sitting in the corner and I couldn’t stand by and do nothing.
They approached her and noticed how exhausted and scared she was. Despite this, she approached her cautiously, hoping that they would help her.
After having observed it better, they realized his fur was very matted and she would need a groomer appointment.
Now that they were determined to help her, they tried to comfort her to see if she would come with them.
She followed them to their car and got in herself. At that moment, the puppy realized that everything would be okay. She was safe.
They treated her matted fur, then took her to a veterinary clinic where she was accepted immediately.
A big change for this sweet puppy
After a check, they realized she was suffering from mild dermatitis and I should take medicine for that. Then one of the rescuers took the puppy home and gave him a nice bath.
She looked so relaxed and happy afterwards. The dog was happy to be so clean. The rescuer proceeded by giving him all the necessary medications.
Now that the treatment was over, the woman gave him a nice warm shirt to wear, and the dog just loved it.
After about five days, things changed. She was much better, and the change was noticeable.
His mood has improved and his rescuer still takes him for walks in the park. She really enjoys it and is always happy to meet new friends there.
Because she wanted to make sure the dog recovered, the woman regularly took him to a veterinarian for controls.
Her hair had started to grow again and she was as happy as ever. The puppy was learning to be a dog again. It’s as if a whole new world opened up to her.
She’s with her favorite people now
The next day, the rescuer went to a supermarket and bought a house for this lovely dog. She was so excited that she took advantage of the first opportunity she had to rest and relax there.
Her rescuer noticed that she had only eaten a small dinner because she was so happy to return to her new favorite place.
Three weeks later, this puppy was constantly changing. She was so excited to meet new people and other dogs that she couldn’t contain herself.
Due to his strict diet, his fur has completely grown back, and she turned into a beautiful dog.
She even made a new friend with whom she loves to play every day. They live nearby, so it’s no surprise that they see each other often.
Now that everything has changed for this puppy, her rescuer has decided that she will continue to live with him because she is so precious to them.
It’s truly amazing how she went from a shivering, tangled puppy to looking happy and beautiful in such a short time. I’m so happy to see she’s doing well.
