Dogs have been man’s best friend for 30,000 years, and in that time they have shown us how important they are to us.
They are brave, loyal, loving and intelligent, but most importantly, they are fighters like us.
When things start to go wrong for them, they will do just about anything to persevere and come out stronger than before.
For this big dog, he was only a year old but he had faced so much hardship so early in life and almost wasn’t going to make it.
However, his luck was about to change for the better when a girl spotted him lying under a bridge and decided to call for help.
At the end of his rope
Just as rescuers received information that this poor puppy was lying under the bridgethey immediately gathered their things and started heading towards the scene.
When they arrived there, they were completely shocked by what they saw. There wasn’t just one dog.
There were two, but one of them had unfortunately died. He couldn’t continue any longer. It was completely heartbreaking for the rescuers, but they could no longer focus on the negative.
They had to help this puppy that was always with them, and they were determined to do it. Upon closer inspection, they assumed he was malnourished and seriously injured.
However, what exactly was wrong with him was still unclear. He will have to be taken to a clinic for an examination.
To make matters worse, the weather was truly horrible and it had rained for days before he was found.
He was also likely suffering from hypothermia, which meant he needed urgent help. The rescuers who found the dog asked for help from residents to be able to transport the dog.
And they managed to find someone. Just when this happened, he was finally taken to a clinic where he underwent a proper examination.
A difficult and slow recovery
They found that the the dog, now named Taigan, had injuries to his cervical vertebraewhich meant he couldn’t move at all.
We don’t know what his story was, but it was horrible. Vets also discovered that someone had cut off his ears with scissors.
It was just cruel and horrible. I don’t understand how anyone could do something like that to a sweet, innocent dog.
Taigan just wanted a chance at a normal life, but that was almost taken away from him by neglectful owners.
After determining what was wrong with the dog, they groomed some of his fur and began to treat him.
It would be a while before he could get up properly, but there was some hope that he would eventually pull through.
With time, care and love, he started to get better. Taigan was doing incredible healing and the vets and his rescuer now thought there was a chance he could get back up soon.
And, suddenly, the prediction turned out to be correct. The day had come, and this sweet dog had finally stood on all four legs, and everyone was so proud of him.
Right after that, a nice woman decided to adopt Taigan and give him a new home. Under his care he has changed so much and is now a completely different dog.
It’s truly amazing to see how much he has changed, thanks to the love and care of his incredible rescuers.
