The love we have for our dogs is limitless and will last forever. Our puppies feel our love and know that we will stay by their side through better or worse.

Unfortunately, some dogs give all their love to heartless owners who don’t deserve it. These owners drop them and abandon them when they get old.

Seymour, an adorable senior puppy, knows what it’s like to be hurt by his family. After giving all his love to his owners, they dropped him off at a shelter, wanting to have him put down.

Seymour was frightened and clung to his owner’s leg as if he understood that he was about to face a sad fate.

The saddest eyes that asked for help

Chrissy, a dog rescuer, happened to be at this shelter.

She came to take dogs Forgotten, now family rescuean animal rescue located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Chrissy noticed an elderly puppy entering the shelter with its owner. The dog could barely walk. He was extremely neglected and scared.

“He was covered in flea dust and the smell of his infection filled the hall,” Chrissy said The Dodo.

He had the saddest look and he was clinging to his owner’s leg, hoping that he wouldn’t leave him.

Chrissy heard that the puppy named Seymour had spent eighteen years with his family and that his owners wanted the dog euthanized now. She was heartbroken.

At that moment, she made a decision. Seymour came with her to her aid.

Chrissy and Carcy, another dog rescuer, tried to convince the owner to let them take Seymour to the vet. He initially refused to accept their help.

Chrissy signaled to the staff member that she would take Seymour with her.

After Seymour’s owner left the shelter, The dog kept looking around, wondering why he was still standing alone.

The life he was always meant to have

Chrissy immediately came to his side and petted him, letting him know he wasn’t alone. She wasn’t going to leave him in a cold kennel.

Seymour was both moved and shocked that Chrissy was touching him. He didn’t know what love was.

As the puppy had growths and masses on his face and body, Chrissy took him in as a fospice puppy.

She took him to the vet to get him the help he needed. She wanted to do everything she could to make him feel better.

Seymour had his masses removed and continued his recovery at Chrissy’s home.

He received a lot of love and support. The whole family, including the little humans, cherished the puppy and showed him what life was all about.

No one believed Seymour had much time left, but thanks to the love he received, the puppy proved everyone wrong.

“We were expecting a short stay in hospice care with him, and even a few days of comfort would be worth it to me. Instead he gave me 13 months and it’s going strong. Chrissy added.

Seymour couldn’t believe how much his life had changed. He was no longer a heartbroken, unwanted dog. The dog was now a beloved member of the family.

The whole family fell in love with her sweet personality and her kind heart.

Chrissy is grateful to have Seymour in her life. She and his family will love him forever and cherish every day they spend with him.

“I was there at just the right time and our hearts were absolutely meant to be,” » said Chrissy.

Seymour feels happy because he finally knows what it feels like to be unconditionally loved and cared for.

The pooch is living his best life in Charlotte, North Carolina. He enjoys every day he spends with his forever family, soaking up their infinite love.
