The feeling of security that someone you love won’t hurt your heart is very important to your well-being. Yet when your whole life revolves around your favorite person, the problem goes to another level.
Dogs feel human love much more intensely, but they also feel tragic when that same human betrays them. This can often lead to serious consequences, and one of the worst is when the dog completely loses trust in people.
A dog named Jake was in exactly this state when a kind-hearted rescuer found him. Despite his best attempts, this poor dog was unable to recognize the goodness in people again.
Deep inside his shell
He appeared on his property out of nowhere. Prue Barber, founder of Mission Paws’iblewas very sad to see Jake wandering alone for a while, so she immediately decided to help him.
Although the experienced rescuer thought it would be an easy mission, Jake quickly proved him wrong. Every time she tried to approach, Jake would run away and disappear into the bushes. She quickly realized that he was afraid of peopleso she opted for another method.
“This time I took my dog to see if Murphy could help him warm up.” Prue said The Dodo. That didn’t stop him from going back into his shell, but Prue could see a glimmer of joy in Jake’s eyes.which gave him hope for a happy ending.
Since Prue realized that Jake was only afraid of humans, but loved dogs, she brought the whole pack the next day. After a long search, Prue and her dogs found him behind a neighbor’s temple.
Jake was happy to see the canine friends, but as soon as Prue got a little closer to him, he became agitated. He started pacing nervously and there was no way to calm him down.
Prue decided to come back the next day, but unfortunately Jake was nowhere to be found. For the next two weeks he didn’t show up. and this woman slowly began to lose hope of ever seeing him truly happy.
A beauty of a miracle
Fourteen days after she last saw him, a miracle happened at the front door of Prue’s house. From a distance, she noticed a furry creature with a big smile on its face. It was Jake, but he was a brand new dog.
“Honestly, it was one of the most incredible moments” Prue said. “From that moment on, he was very accepting of humans!
From a dog who wouldn’t even look at her in the eyes, Jake transformed into a dog who followed Prue everywhere and loved being in her arms. It was an incredible transformation, even in the eyes of an experienced savior like Prue.
She and Jake created a strong bond during their time together, but this dog’s place in the sun was a loving home with a loving family. Since no one claimed him after posting his photos on the Internet, Prue found Jake a forever home.
“He has the most incredible life” Prue concluded happily. “He has other friends there. He loves running around with his friends and causing havoc.
It’s a true miracle that the life of a dog who didn’t want to come out of his shell changed in such a short time. However, when we know that the unconditional love of a good soul is responsible, then everything becomes clearer.
