Max, a little dog from Southern California, embarked on a most unexpected adventure the other day. Little did he know that everything wouldn’t go as well as he had planned!
The puppy named Max escaped from his garden to try to walk alone, but over time he no longer knew how to get home. He was officially – LOST!
To make matters worse, the sun made the sidewalk unbearably hot for this tangled boi. Layers of matted and dirty fur hampered his every movement and he really struggled to stand the intense sun.
He really seemed like a lost cause until a woman spotted this poor little dog in the street!
Max wandered the streets alone
A woman passing by spotted Max just in time! She immediately called Suzette Room, of Logan’s Legacyfrom Irvine, California.
When she finally got to where Max was standing, Hall initially thought he was an abandoned dog who had no one to care for him.
Logan’s Legacy to the Rescue
His fur was in very bad shape and he looked like he had spent months wandering the streets… but as soon as she came a little closer and picked him up, she knew that he had a house!
When she drove Max home, she learned that Max’s family cared deeply about their dog, but that they didn’t have enough money to subject him to grooming under anesthesia.
And it turned out that Max was refused several times by groomers because of his behavior!
“He would become completely vicious and all the groomers would refuse him,” Hall said.
The family was in a real bind and they didn’t know what to do, but then Hall took over!
She offered to cover her grooming under anesthesia, intervening like a true hero to the family who didn’t know what to say! They were so excited to finally be able to shave Max’s incredibly matted fur after so long.
While he slept, the vet took care of him, shaving off all those mats that were hanging off Max. After a careful grooming session, he removed about two whole pounds of fur from his body!
When he woke up, Max looked nothing like his old self! And, apparently, he really liked the fact that he didn’t have to carry a ton of fur on his back!
“Literally, 2 pounds of fur came off him. »
A brand new dog
Thanks to Hall, Max is now a brand new dog! He looked so happy and enthusiastic, but the biggest celebration started when he finally got home!
“He was literally jumping with happiness. We will continue to help him with his grooming needs. We love you, boy,” Suzette wrote.
His family couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw Max for the first time after the grooming! They literally cried during the reunion, and Max was just happy to be with them again!
And, for the future – Suzette will make sure Max never finds himself in the same situation! She will remain in his life as a pillar of support, ensuring that he gets only the best out of life!
