Abandoned dogs and overcrowded shelters are topics that, unfortunately, have been making headlines more and more lately.

Even though many experts and “animal lovers” constantly point out this growing problem, many people seem to be deaf to these warnings.

One is the owner of a one-year-old dog who suddenly decided she simply didn’t need her pet anymore.

That’s why, one day, she left her dog at the high-kill shelter, leaving without even saying goodbye. The poor little dog was heartbroken and cried in a place she just wasn’t used to living.

The video touched many

This little Chihuahua with beautiful white fur was so disoriented by the new situation that for a moment she couldn’t even move from the place she had been brought to.

THE Carson Animal Shelter the volunteers saw that his heart was filled with sadness. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much they could do at the moment.

One thing they could do, though, was dress the little dog in a pink sweater to make him feel at least a little warmer. But, even that didn’t help this puppy who went to bed crying every night.

However, they had to react quickly because the shelter was overcrowded and she was threatened with euthanasia.

That’s why one of the volunteers at the Carson Animal Shelter came up with the idea of record a video of the dog crying in order to arouse people’s emotions.

And that’s exactly what happened when the video melted the hearts of many humans who saw it on the shelter’s official website. the Facebook page.

“Last minute” happy ending

It didn’t take long before a woman saw the post and contacted a friend interested in adopting a dog.

As soon as her friend saw the video, without thinking much, she decided to take her to a warm home and literally save her life.

The little Chihuahua was now living happily in Missouri with owners who loved him. After everything she’s been through, this Chi deserves a lifetime of happiness!

However, the problem of overcrowded shelters remains and this facility, like many others, is asking people to become more involved in this area every day.

So don’t hesitate and, if you can, open your heart to these adorable little ones because one of your actions can sometimes save a life.
