Mushka is an adorable puppy with a very sad story.
Unfortunately, growing up, this sweet boy had no idea what it felt like to be happy, loved and appreciated. He was always abused, yelled at and scared.
“Why does this keep happening to me? Why don’t the Homans like me? All I want is to be loved…”
Mushka had so many unanswered questions and didn’t know if he would ever be able to live the life he so desperately wanted.
But then something incredible happened.
The light at the end of the tunnel
After being yelled at again by a cruel man, Mushka decided to run away and hide in a bush. He curled up into a ball, trying to comfort himself, when all of a sudden he heard someone shouting his name.
At first he was very confused because the voice was very calm and gentle, calling him to come out of the bushes. He wasn’t used to being spoken to in such a nice way.
Nevertheless, Mushka gathered all his courage and walked out of the bush, looking at the hoomans who continued to talk to him.
The puppy, not knowing if he should trust them, decided to stay calm and stand so stiff that he almost turned into a statue. But after realizing that the hoomans weren’t going to harm him, he lay down in the wet grass, hoping to get some sleep.
Suddenly, he felt something warm covering his body, and when he opened his eyes, he realized that it was actually a blanket! The hoomans covered him and recovered him, eventually taking him to a safe place.
Finally safe
Mushka was immediately taken to the vet. When they arrived, this nice boy still didn’t know what to think. He was very nervous and shy, carefully watching what the hoomans were doing and hoping they wouldn’t yell at him like the others did.
The puppy was thoroughly examined and received all necessary vaccinations and medications. He was then given food which, even though he was hungry, he refused to eat.
Mushka was then taken to an animal shelter where he could decompress a little and, after a few days, his rescuers began to see progress.
This sweet boy finally understood that he was no longer in danger, which allowed him to come out of his shell and finally start living his life.
Walking was his new favorite activity as well as receiving sweet hugs and kisses every time he saw his loving man again.
I’m sure that with a little more time, this amazing puppy will be able to forget all of his dark past and completely embrace his loving future with an amazing family that will show him what being a puppy is all about!

Stop dog brutality
It’s really sad to think that in a world where dogs are often considered man’s best friend, there are cases like these.
These faithful companions want nothing more than to shower us with love, happiness and kisses., and they end up being treated in the worst possible way. Every day, countless innocent dogs suffer at the hands of humans, enduring pain that haunts them for the rest of their lives.
So please stand up against dog brutality and protect our four-legged friends. Together we can end this injustice and create a world where every animal is treated with the respect, love and care they deserve!
