When the Krier family realized their adorable black Labrador, named Bo, was missing, they panicked and began frantically searching everywhere for him.
Bo’s parents knew how much he loved adventures. He loved to escape from their home in Concordia, Kansas, and go on excursions by himself.
Every time he ran away from home, he always found his way back. But this time, it was different.
The night Bo disappeared, he disappeared from the family garden after his mother took him to the bathroom. He did not return home.
Family receives news from Bo
The whole family was very worried about their adorable little dog. They couldn’t stop looking for him. His mother, Laura Krier, posted his photo on social media. She asked people to call her family immediately if they saw their pooch.
The next day, the family was ecstatic when Kyle Krier, Bo’s father, learned that a dog similar to Bo had been seen running through the cornfields six miles from their home.
Krier immediately went to the scene. As soon as he saw his dog, he called his name and Bo started running towards him.
Krier was overjoyed. His beloved dog was safe and sound.
Looking closer, he saw that Bo was not alone. He had friends running with him. At first, Krier couldn’t make them out. They were just black dots in the distance.
Bo introduces his friends to his father
When the trio got closer, Krier was surprised to see that Bo’s new friends were a dog and a goat.
As a good friend, Bo offered his friends a ride in his dad’s red truck. He didn’t want to leave them behind. Krier asked the three friends to get into his car. After fastening their seat belts, he took them into town.
Soon, Krier discovers that Bo’s new friends, Libby and Ozzy, belonged to his neighbors!
That’s when he started putting the pieces of the puzzle together. After sneaking out of the house, Bo had to go to his friends’ house.
We don’t really know who had the idea to embark on this adventure, but their owners were sure that all three had come up with the plan together.
“It’s hard to say whether it was Bo the black lab or Libby and Ozzy who started the adventure. But, nonetheless, they managed to escape. They are definitely friends.” Shawna Huggans said The Dodo.
Bo was happy to have friends who shared his love of adventure.
Bo’s Perfect Life
The adorable pup made more friends among the goats. He continued to enjoy his dream life in Kansas and ran away from home almost daily.
Unfortunately, in July 2022, Laura shared on her Facebook that their perfect, sweet Bo crossed the rainbow bridge. They will always love him and keep him in their hearts.
“He was so perfect from the day we picked him out as a puppy, it’s truly unexplainable! The happiness he brought us everyday, his fun personality. His love of going to work with dad, his love of going for walks or jogging even though I couldn’t keep up with his energy and his love for hot dogs will forever live with us everyday,” she wrote.
Bo lived his best life with his family who adored and cherished him. The adorable pup brought smiles to many people’s faces. He will always be remembered.
