With an injured leg and a heart full of love, an abandoned puppy lay on the side of a road in Ensenada, California, hoping to be saved.
Whenever passersby passed by her, the puppy would look at them with her gentle eyes that begged for compassion.
Although the puppy was hit by a car and injured by people, he has not lost faith in humanity.
The adorable dog continued to believe that good humans would come to her aid, and she eagerly anticipated seeing them.
The puppy did not let himself lose hope for a better future.
Good humans answer the call for help
As soon as rescuers Henry, Sydney and Pris heard that an injured puppy needed their help, they rushed to help.
When they arrived on scene, the rescue team spotted the puppy, who greeted them with a wagging tail. She turned around and asked for belly rubs.
The puppy’s beautiful brown eyes melted with love.
The rescuers were enchanted by her. They cuddled her and held her in their arms.
The puppy, later named Nemo, was happy because the good people he had been waiting for had finally arrived.
The rescue team put her in the front seat of their car and talked to her. Nemo gave them the cutest smile and captured their hearts.
Nemo’s heroes She believed that at some point she would finally have a family because she was a true love.
Her heroes took her to the vet.
As Nemo waited for his medical exam, she couldn’t help but smile. The pup appreciated the rescuers’ help.

This adorable little dog was diagnosed with several tick-borne diseases and received treatment. Her back leg was broken and it healed in the wrong position.
As it couldn’t be repaired, the puppy’s leg unfortunately had to be amputated and Nemo had to undergo surgery.
A host family of his dreams
The animal cushiona nonprofit dog rescue organization based in San Diego, California, took her in.
They found him a loving foster home and Nemo moved in with Sarah, his foster family.
Mia, Nemo’s adoptive sister, fell in love with him from the first moment she met him. Nemo was a little reserved towards her, but Mia didn’t let that discourage her.
The cute doggie kept trying to bring toys to Nemo. She wanted to win his heart.
The adorable puppy realized that Mia wanted to help him. The two sisters started spending a lot of time together and eventually became best friends.
They often snuggled up to each other.
Nemo’s foster mother showered the puppy with lots of love. She and Mia were both Nemo’s biggest support.
The Amazing Mind of the Puppy
Nemo underwent surgery which was successful and has begun to recover in her loving foster home.
Sarah and Mia were always by his side, encouraging him and helping him heal.
Nemo’s foster mother was impressed by her energy and drive. Losing her leg didn’t slow her down.
“…She had no problem with the change! She runs around like crazy, nibbles on my other foster dog’s ankles, looks at herself in mirrors, wrestles with all her toys.” Sarah commented Instagram.
Nemo always loves people and is the nicest girl. The puppy often turns around and asks his neighbors to stroke his belly.
Although Nemo and Mia are living their best lives with their amazing foster mom, they can’t wait to meet their forever parents and give them all their love.
