When a garbage man was working in an abandoned house and emptying the trash, he thought it would be just another day at work.
However, out of the corner of his eye, the worker noticed something moving in the corner of the house.
Before, he thought it was just a white trash bag, but when he realized it was actually moving, he knew it was a frightened animal looking for shelter.
Upon further investigation, it turned out that the animal was an anxious, curled-up puppy.

The man didn’t know if the puppy was trembling with fear or if she was just cold because her whole body was wet. But, in the end, it didn’t even matter.
He knew that She was exhausted, hungry and completely unable to move on her own..
The worker contacted the local shelter and informed them of the situation. While waiting for their arrival, he looked into the puppy’s hopeful eyes and tried to comfort her as much as possible.
It took the shelter staff a full hour to get there, and on the way they decided to stop at a supermarket and treat this hungry pup to a delicious meal to fill his belly.
The staff approached the puppy very slowly and carefully, as they did not want to scare him. However, when they offered her the food, she was reluctant to take it, even though she was hungry.
It seemed like she didn’t trust all these strangers and was looking around, trying to figure out what was going on.
The emergency personnel tried to speak to him in a calm and gentle voice, hoping this would help them gain his trust, but the puppy was just too scared.
They decided to take a different approach, including leaving the food in front of the dog and leaving the room, thinking this would help him relax.
It worked!
As soon as she saw them leaving the room, the puppy immediately rushed to the food and ate every last bit.
After finishing, the rescuers entered the room again, hoping that this time the puppy would eat out of their hand, but they still haven’t gained his trust.
She continued to turn away from them, trying to make herself as small as possible.
But the rescuers did not give up!
After a while, the puppy finally let his guard down and allowed the humans to pick him up and carry him to the car.
New chapter of life
The rescue team immediately took the puppy to the nearest veterinary hospital so he could receive a thorough examination.
The doctor found that she had two small wounds on the side of both her legs.Luckily they weren’t deep and will disappear in no time with a little ointment,
The puppy then received a much-needed bath and a little haircut, leaving him looking completely unrecognizable.
The puppy was able to leave the hospital the same day and return home to his rescuers who decided to take him in.
Again, She was a little hesitant when she arrived because everything was so new to her.She continued to hide in corners and refuse to eat.
Fortunately, thanks to his determined rescuers, the puppy began to come out of his shell and understand that there was nothing to fear.
In no time, she was running and playing with other furry friends, living the best life ever!
Going from an anxious puppy to a puppy who constantly gets into mischief wasn’t easy. But thanks to the amazing humans who didn’t give up on her, this puppy is finally able to be happy!
