We all love our pets, but sometimes it’s almost impossible to stop them from doing the stupidest things. And, worse, their little “adventures” can often turn into real-life dramas!
One such dramatic case was filmed by Daylue Goah in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where a curious family dog got stuck on the roof of his house.
The people who witnessed this scene immediately mobilized and called for help, but the rescue was much more complicated!
How did he get there?
No one knows exactly how this little hairy boy ended up on the roof. According to Goah interview for WJARThe dog’s owner believes he got out through the top floor window.
At the time of this dangerous situation, his humans were not home, which probably triggered the dog’s adventurous spirit.
The problem was that once he got out – he didn’t know how to go back!
He slowly climbed onto the roof, looking for the exit, but he couldn’t find it. He walked slowly from one side to the other, being only a few steps away inches from a fatal fall.
“Oh my God! Don’t do that, don’t do that!” can be heard in the video.
Here is the human
According to Goah, he saw the animal control vehicle at one point, thinking help had finally arrived. But then the car drove away and the dog’s suffering was prolonged.
Just when it seemed like the dog was going to be stuck on the roof for hours, a heartwarming moment of humanity occurred!
An unknown man He saw the dog in such a desperate state, and he went up to the roof to try to help him.
The man held the window with one hand and tried to reach the dog with the other. He waited patiently for the animal’s reaction. And a few moments later, the dog started wagging its tail!
He looked so happy to finally see someone coming to his aid.
Unfortunately, he was still reluctant to approach his savior and remained inches away from him.
At one point, you can see the man searching for snacks inside the house to try to attract a dog, but to no avail.
That’s when the man decided to go further!
He slowly climbed to the top of the roof where the dog was and sat down next to him. The next moment, the man can be seen giving his stranded companion the gentlest caresses on the head.
It was a moment of pure relief for all who witnessed this poignant scene.
But, just when everything seemed to be working out for the best, Another dramatic moment took place!
Wait, don’t go
The man tried to get the dog in, but his four-legged friend didn’t have the same idea in mind!
Instead of following the man, he escaped once again and did the most frightening “ride” down a steep slope. Luckily, the sunroof was nearby and the man slowly followed the dog.
In the next moment, he finally caught itthus bringing this heroic rescue to an end.
The good news is that the dog’s owner had just come home and immediately opened the sunroof, taking the dog inside.
Everyone was so relieved that the dog was finally safe. But, most importantly, the owner was extremely grateful for the help of the stranger!

Finally safe
After this heartbreaking situation, the Rhode Island family was reunited again, all thanks to the noble act of one man!
Moments like this are a true testament to courage, kindness and humanity. And it’s people like these who make this world a better place!
