Sometimes homeless dogs have the most guarded hearts.
Maddie, a stray puppy, craved human affection, but was too afraid to trust humans and open her heart to love.
The whole dog world began to change the day she met Selina, a kind-hearted dog rescuer.
As soon as Selina saw Maddie on the road for the first time, she wanted to help her and get her to safety. The puppy had a skin condition and her skin was itching.
Since Maddie was scared, she didn’t let Selina near her.
The rescuer decided to gain his trust. She began visiting him and giving him skin care.
Win Maddie’s Heart
Although Maddie continued to run away every time her rescuer tried to touch her, she began chasing after her scooter and following her home. However, every time Selina decided to stop, the frightened pup would run away.
The kind dog wanted to trust Selina, but she had to overcome her fear.
The rescuer continued to feed her every day and talk to her, trying to convince her.
The giant-hearted human rejoiced when Maddie made a full recovery. Her skin healed and her fur grew back.
Maddie recognized Selina’s sincerity and she fell in love with her rescuer. The puppy started waiting for her every day in the same place with a smile on his face.
Every time Maddie saw her favorite human approaching, she would start jumping for joy and wagging her tail.

Several months later, Maddie finally let Selina cuddle her for the first time.
They continued to see each other every day. Maddie couldn’t wait to see Selina and snuggle up to her.
The rescuer gave him the love the puppy always needed.
After Selina realized that Maddie trusted her, she took her to the vet for a checkup.
The rescuer was shocked when the vet told her that Maddie was pregnant and due in a few days.
Adorable Puppy Moves In With Selina
Selina brought Maddie home and made her a birdhouse.
The kind lady was so determined to help Maddie that she decided not to sleep. She lay down next to the puppy, wanting to let her know that she was there for her.
Maddie felt safe and content, knowing she had the love and support of her rescuer.
For Selina, helping Maddie give birth to her puppies was a magical moment. It was a completely new experience for the rescuer, and the dog trusted her without limits.
“I am blown away by how she let me in. How much she let me be a part of this incredible journey that is childbirth. The love, the silence, the wisdom…all of it. An absolutely breathtaking and magical experience. I love you SO MUCH, my baby girl, and I am so incredibly proud of you.” she wrote about Instagram.
Maddie welcomed her babies into the world, showering them with endless kisses.
The puppies were carefree because their mother was by their side. They loved to snuggle up to their mother and enjoy all her unconditional love.
Little by little, the adorable balls of fur gained weight and became beautiful, healthy puppies.
The dog was incredibly grateful to her rescuer for getting her to safety and caring for her babies.
The fur babies felt ready to spread their wings and start looking for their place in the world.
Two puppies have found their forever homes, while Maddie and her third puppy are still looking for their perfect match.
