Back to school
When Suzette Hall, the founder of a California-based rescue organization called Logan’s Legacy 29received information from her friend who worked at a local school, her heart broke.
Her friend told her that two seriously entangled puppies managed to find shelter on school grounds because they had nowhere to go.
“She and a few other teachers found them huddled together… They were so scared. » Hall said. The Dodo.
When Hall received photos of the duo, her eyes filled with tears – as the two white puppies asked the school employees for help was truly heartbreaking.
Hall immediately agreed to take in the two dogs. Unfortunately, on her way to school, her car broke down and her arrival was delayed by a few hours.
But don’t worry… while waiting for Hall, the school staff decided to get together and move the scared dogs to a place where they would be safer. A brave janitor gently led the puppies into an empty bathroom while the teachers took turns watching over them. while trying to feed them.

When Hall finally made it to the California school, she couldn’t believe what the physical condition of these dogs was.

Although these adorable puppies, who would later be named Maggie and Mack, were initially afraid of their rescuers, they eventually realized they were only there to help.
After spending some time trying to put them in the carrier, Hall was able to load them into his van and take them directly to Camino Pet Hospital..
“[The] the adorable babies were so tired that they fell asleep in my trap. They could finally sleep…they knew they were safe,” Hall wrote.
Upon arrival, Maggie and Mack underwent a thorough medical evaluation and a well-deserved haircut.
Hospital staff worked very carefully to shave the matted fur from their bodies and we were delighted to see how much happier the puppies were after taking off their thick coats.
After a long day and a long rescue, puppies and hoomans finally got to relax.
When the results finally came in, everyone was relieved to learn that these two adorable puppies were in perfect health.
Maggie and Mack received lots of pets and cuddles as well as delicious treats to reward them for being so amazing.
