Puppy meets his rescuers
As soon as the rescuers Sidewalk Specials were informed that there was a dog that badly needed their help, they headed to the scene.
When they arrived, their hearts broke after seeing the terrified puppy. She lay on the ground, unable to stop shaking.
Good people approached her and the dog looked at them with the saddest eyes.
Rescue team found dog’s owner no longer wanted her. They decided to take care of her.
Kind-hearted people promised to find her a new home where she would receive the love she deserved.
One of the rescuers knelt down, picked the puppy up and gave him a big hug.
The dog, later named Dash, still looked confused and scared. Little did she know that her life was finally going to get better.
The rescuers took her straight to the vet and gave her her first bath.
Dash was not used to receiving kindness and care from humans.
Healing in a Loving Foster Home
Her human friends found her a wonderful foster family who opened her heart to Dash and welcomed her into their home.
Dash’s adoptive mother worked hard to gain her trust and become friends with her.
Since the dog was still scared, she was still looking for places to hide. Her adoptive mother often found her cowering in corners.
She understood that the puppy needed time to start trusting humans again. They failed him several times.
The nice woman built him a fort and Dash started to decompress.
Thanks to the love and care her adoptive mother showered on her, the dog began to let go of her fears and feel better.
His eyes seemed more hopeful. Dash enjoyed her adoptive mother’s hugs and she looked at her with gratitude and affection.
The sweet puppy started to believe that good people exist. Her heart glowed with hope that she would soon find humans who would love her the way she had always wanted.
I hope Dash finds forever parents soon who will spoil her with love and help her become a happy dog.
