A kind-hearted man named Jace was riding his bike to a basketball game when he suddenly spotted a heartbreaking sight on the side of the road.
It was a small dog in horrible condition with visible injuries on its small body.
She needed to be rescued urgently, but this kind man could not rescue her immediately. He couldn’t leave her there, so he made a few calls and arranged for someone to come pick her up.

Save the sweet little girl
Jace called his mother, who then brought the Mission Pawsible animal rescue team with her to help save this precious puppy.
The little girl was sleeping in her corner, but as soon as these strangers started approaching her, she let them know not to come any closer.
She was very afraid of humans, but they were determined not to abandon her, so they launched a rescue plan.
First, they started asking around and trying to locate exactly where she lived or if she had an owner. They were horrified to learn that this dog actually had someone she belonged todespite its horrible condition.

She’s probably never had a bath in her entire life, nor found the right person to take care of her.
Rescuers first tried to lure him into a cage with food, but she was far too smart for that.
After thirty minutes of trying to cajole her, the “owner” arrived on a scooter and was able to put her on a leash.

The start of a new and beautiful life
She was transported to a veterinary clinic, where she was able to get a haircut and enjoy delicious food.
After the shave, they were able to fully assess the condition of his cuts and wounds, but fortunately, they were ultimately minimal.
Unfortunately, she was still heartbroken and a little depressed, but the staff at the veterinary clinic made it clear to her that she could overcome her sadness and learn to trust again.
She just needed the right foster or permanent home that would allow this beautiful girl, now named Lexie, to decompress and slowly build trust.
Fortunately, Lexie quickly found a new home and her new mother was an ideal partner for her.
Her new mother, Michellina Suminto, fell in love with her at first sight. She was actually looking for another puppy to adopt because her other dog needed a friend.
Meanwhile, Lexie had transformed into incredibly fluffy ball of fur once her fur grew back, and she was the cutest dog ever.
In just a few days, Lexie and her adopted brother, Edison, became inseparable.
