Well, that’s what Naco has been feeling for several years, since 2018…
But now Naco’s hopes are growing (again) and there’s a good chance he’ll find his forever home.

The teddy bear called Naco
It’s been years… It’s been too long. That early fall of 2018 when Naco arrived at ADL Texas is gone and forgotten… Just like Naco.
The dogs have come and gone. Many of them came through the shelter. And… Naco stayed, seeing them all find their happy home.
No one came to pick him up, and Naco, the sweet teddy bear lookalike, was left behind, his heart broken into pieces.
But that wasn’t the only thing wrong with his heart. Naco was seriously affected by heartworm. Have a American Pitbull Terrier Mix with this condition, waiting for adoption is simply too complicated. Naco was not the type of dog that people fought to adopt.
“Potential adopters came to meet Naco, but for unknown reasons, they ultimately failed to adopt him,” Felicia Niño, director of marketing and development, said for News week.
It’s really a conundrum why Naco hasn’t been adopted yet. He has one of the sweetest temperaments you’ve ever seen. He is 100% made of happiness and joy, and you have to give him a chance to show it to you.

You see, all Naco wants is fun, cuddles and snacks. And no water, please – he’s not a Labrador. he is a sweet Teddy stuck in the body of a grizzly bear, and he has all his love for you.
