A little dog named Cuco felt betrayed and alone after his owners abandoned him in a remote area.

Dog begins his path to recovery
Cuco was hospitalized and the veterinary team performed the laboratory tests.
The dog was diagnosed with severe anemia and began treatment. As the dog was extremely malnourished, he had to be put on a special diet.
The puppy felt so weak that he just kept lying down.
Cuco’s caregivers were dedicated to his care. They fed him and encouraged him to fight for his life.

After Cuco was freed, his rescuers took him in. They knew the puppy still needed time to fully recover.
The rescuers gave him nutritious food. Cuco started gaining weight and playing with other dogs during the rescue.
Find happiness
Cuco’s human friends loved him. They often snuggled up to him and showered him with love.
