Buying a new home is always an exciting adventure, but this couple couldn’t have dreamed of what they would find in their new home.
The people who sold them the house left behind their 10-year-old dog who they had owned since she was a puppy. They just heartlessly tied her to a tree and left.
A beautiful Pitbull girl named Molly suddenly found herself abandoned by her family, heartbroken and tied to a tree with no way to escape.
She spent her days alone, hanging on a chain in the garden, waiting for the people she loved so much to return.
But unfortunately, the previous owners made a list of things they wanted to keep, and Molly wasn’t on it.
April Parker, the new owner of the Fairhope, Alabama house, wrote about her Tic Tac, “They just didn’t want her.” They wanted their hive and their tractor, but not her or the cat.
“We couldn’t believe someone would treat her like property. But she’s better. She is going to have a good life!!! We like it!! Their loss, our gain!!
As soon as April and her husband, JC, closed the deal, they rushed to their new home to check on their new pets. Heartbroken, Molly lay in the middle of the yard, looking sad and depressed.
But as soon as they released her, she immediately started wagging her tail and following them everywhere.
This nice girl kept following them everywhere, obviously afraid of being abandoned once again.
“We are going to make his life so beautiful. She will never be left alone, tied to a tree. » April wrote.
Molly was immediately in love with her new family. She was such a nice girl that everyone wondered how anyone could leave her behind like that.
They also tried to find the cat, but they weren’t so lucky because it was probably scared and hiding somewhere in the yard.
After a few days, they found her. She was a beautiful orange cat, but she was very nervous, so they decided to continue working on her to get her used to them.
They also discovered that Molly was terrified of thunder, probably because she had been outside alone for so long, which was just heartbreaking to think about.
April and JC brought Molly inside the house where they gave her a much-needed bath and tried to get her used to being a house dog.
The family had already two cats (Brainsaw and Joofus) and two other dogsRoux (the Catahoula) and Mojo (the Labrador Retriever), who are also rescue dogs.
It took some getting used to the new family members, but all the animals seemed to like each other and quickly became best friends.
One time, Molly was really afraid of thunder, and one of the cats (Joofus) sensed how distressed she was feeling, so the cat jumped on the bed and comforted Molly until the storm was over. passed.
The new puppies took Molly to visit the Colony Animal Clinic in Fairhope, Alabama. Unfortunately, Molly tested positive for heartworm and had right heart myopathy.
“We are carrying out the full treatment which will be administered over the next few months. We hope the treatment will not only help him feel better, but also slow the progression of the disease. » April wrote on TikTok.
Video of Molly found tied to a tree in the backyard went viral on TikTok, generating more than 32.5 million views.
People were eager to help Molly and send her anything she needed. Surprisingly, a few days later, the family received many gifts for Molly. She was so happy.
“We really love how many people love Molly. When you watch the news, you feel like the world is full of bad people. I have discovered that the world is full of amazing people and I feel so blessed by so many of them. We love you all!”, April wrote.
Molly has changed so much since becoming part of the new family. She is loved, happy, and hopefully will be perfectly healthy very soon.
She loves car rides, playing with her new siblings, and snuggling.
Molly, you deserve the world and we are all so happy that you found the family that loves you unconditionally.
