As Emerice Hallock and her brother crossed a deserted section of the highway, an extremely unusual sight caught their attention.
There was a mysterious white figure standing all alone in the brush by the side of the road.
At first, Hallock didn’t think much of it. She assumed it was nothing more than a strange rock that stood out for its shiny white color.
However, the luminous figure intrigued Hallock’s brother, who could not stop looking at it. Moments later he realized what it really was and insisted that Hallock turn around and stop.
An unusual spectacle
“He was telling me to turn around. He said he saw an albino porcupine. I was like, “Yeah, okay. » [But] he was panicking, so I turned around. Hallock said The Dodo.
Hallock and his brother immediately parked the car and rushed to see if he was right. After getting closer to the unusual figure, they came face to face with an adorable albino porcupine. They were impressed.
Hallock couldn’t believe how lucky they were to be able to witness such a rare sighting. Only one in 10,000 spiny creatures are albino.
The little guy retreats into the forest
“It was crazy, honestly. I have never seen a porcupine in my life, so seeing an albino pig was mind blowing. she says.
The little guy seemed in good spirits as he strolled gracefully through the brush. Hallock and his brother couldn’t help but look at him and admire his white fur and quills.
The handsome porcupine didn’t seem scared at all. He acted like he knew how precious and wonderful he was.
Hallock captured video of the stunning albino animal as it went about its day. He returned to the forest, happy to have enchanted the two siblings.
Hallock and his brother returned to their car and headed home. They felt lucky to have witnessed such a fascinating spectacle. They will always remember it.
