It’s hard to think about it, but not everything is always so predictable in the animal world. Things can happen and it would be difficult to explain the cause.
In the case of small puppies, their mothers sometimes reject them, and although this is a horrible thing, it happens in nature.
However, despite this, all is not gloomy. There’s always another side to every story, and in this one, a kind rescuer decided to give a newborn puppy another chance.
Meet the Shrimp
When Shramp was first found by her rescuer in Texas, she was unfortunately rejected by her mother and I seriously needed help.
After examination, the woman found that there was something wrong with his eyese and it looked like it was an ulcer.
She was also very malnourished, making it difficult to determine her age, but she was estimated to be around two weeks old.
To make things even more depressing, Shramp has also had quite a few injuries and injuries this would require treatment as quickly as possible.
The first thing her savior had to do was feed her so she would have a fighting chance.
Now that there was someone who cared for her, that meant that there was a good chance she would recover.
Her savior had to be there for her 24/7 because she was still too fragile and couldn’t do anything on her own.
A lucky break
With each passing day, Shramp was making incredible progress. She really wanted to live, and you could see how happy she was all the time.
Now that she’s out of the woods, the kind woman who’s taking her in has decided to give this puppy her own kennel with a cozy place to nap.
It’s safe to say that Shramp simply loved it and spends a lot of time in his new little corner taking naps.
After about 11 days in the care of his rescuer, it was time for this puppy to have an exam at the Texas Veterinary Clinic.
The vet checked his eye and determined that the inflammation was going down.but she had no time to relax, as she would still need time to recover.
However, they still had to refer Shramp to a veterinary ophthalmologist who would do an examination, as it was suspected that she had anterior synechiae.
She also has a small hernia and possibly hydrocephalus. However, while waiting for their visit, she will continue her convalescence at home.
Shramp has the best nanny ever: Theodore Charleston, the dog who loves spending time with her.
Even though he isn’t always able to match her energy level, Charleston is always there and looking out for her.
A whole new chapter
After receiving her first vaccination, she was finally able to interact with the other dogs in the house and they were all surprised by her kindness.
She loves her new family and his personality begins to show with each passing day.
Now that it was time for her to see a vet again, they had to prepare for some bad news. In order to help Shramp, they should take out his eye.
Even though it’s not a pleasant thing, it had to be done and she would make a full recovery after this.
The surgery went well and as expected, Shramp will be fine. The vets let her mother take her home the same day and told them to watch her 24/7.
Even though she herself underwent a very difficult operation, she regained her usual happiness in just a few days and is already starting to play with his mother and the other dogs.
It’s only thanks to Shramp’s incredible determination and her savior that she is now able to enjoy all that life has to offer with the most amazing people and siblings she could ask for .
